CIDC2109 will take place at the Wyndham Hotels, Disney Springs, in Orlando Florida.
Yes, that's right, not one but
TWO
hotels are on offer. Both are at the same place, and both
share the same conference and dining facilities.
The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista offers a view of the park, and is a somewhat newer hotel, while the
Wyndham Garden hotel offers an alternative option for those on a tighter budget.
Bedrooms for people attending the conference is reduced from the normal rate.
This price will be valid from September 19 through October 2.
Please note that registration at the conference does not automatically
create a hotel booking. You must book separately with one of the hotels.

This conference is run on a non-profit basis. As such the room block booking
is kept as small as possible to avoid unnecessary costs. Extra rooms are possible at the same rate,
as
long as the hotel has space available.
A side effect of staying at this hotel is that a group rate for Disney World attractions has been made available.

Note that tickets purchased before July 15th 2019 will be cheaper than tickets purchased after July 15. So if you do have plans then
you can save some money by purchasing early.
After the reception on Tuesday night (24th Sept) a group of us plan to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This takes place in the Magic Kingdom
park (most rides will be open) from 7pm to midnight. You will need to purchase your own ticket to this, but you are welcome to join us for the party.
Costumes are not required :)
